About
Pier Paolo Pasolini’s works are full of unlimited gestures and movements. His works begin in the rural area of Friuli, where his family has lived for generations, and gradually moves towards a deadly despair. This journey towards despair ends with the murder of Pasolini in 1975 in Ostia.
Beginning writing firstly with poems in Friulian language, Pasolini is best known for his films. His six plays written in 1966 are not widely known even today. Orgia is the first play of Pasolini that is staged in Turkey.
Orgia reverses all behavioral norms while looking to a man's last day and the last night retrospectively. In a nihilist world, a man and a woman suffer fatal suffering to touch upon their existence.
